Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman joined South Asia Insurance Company Limited in 2023 and is currently serving as the Deputy Vice President and Head of the Reinsurance & Claims Department. Through his dedication, professional excellence, and strong commitment to organizational goals, he has earned this leadership position within the Company.

Prior to joining South Asia Insurance Company Limited, Mr. Rahman served as the Head of the Claims Department at Dhaka Insurance Limited, where he gained extensive experience in claims management, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. He also has prior experience working in the banking sector as well as in several reputed insurance companies, which has contributed to his well-rounded professional expertise.

He completed his Bachelor’s (Honours) degree from the prestigious University of Rajshahi. Throughout his career, he has actively participated in numerous professional training programs, seminars, and workshops covering various aspects of the insurance industry.

Mr. Rahman has received extensive training in Fire, Marine, Motor, and Miscellaneous Insurance Underwriting and Claims Management, as well as Reinsurance Management. These specialized courses were organized by the Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) and Tyser, London (UK), further strengthening his technical knowledge and industry competence.

With his strong academic background, extensive industry experience, and continuous professional development, Mr. Rahman plays a vital role in strengthening the reinsurance and claims operations of South Asia Insurance Company Limited, contributing to its efficiency, risk management capabilities, and sustainable growth.
